MKA USA Response to the Oklahoma Tragedy

The leaders and membership of Majlis-Khuddamul Ahmadiyya USA, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization, maintain solidarity with the people of Oklahoma and Texas. We too acknowledge the pain of families in Moore and Newcastle Oklahoma as well as all the areas affected. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and we are supportive of them in their long journey to recovery. As believing youth, we recognize that there are many questions that come up when loss of life, property and peace of mind occur. In spite of these challenges as brothers, friends and neighbors, we support the devastated communities that are affected. We pray for their recovery and their overcoming of all challenges. We all belong to God, and should He call us back may He give strength to the loved ones we leave behind. As a youth auxiliary pledging service to our nation and countrymen, we are merging with Humanity First in providing volunteers to affected families.

MuhaiminKarim2The Muhaimin Karim Shaheed Business Plan competition is an exciting new initiative by the
department of Sanat-o-Tijarat (Industry and Trade). The competition memorializes our dear brother and former Naib Sadr MKA USA, Muhaimin Kareem of Chicago. He was an urban entrepreneur who worked to promote business in the urban core.

In this competition MKA USA is giving you a chance to get funding for the business that you have been working on or that you have been planning to start. We are soliciting business plans from individual or small groups of khuddam all over the USA. The top 3 business plans will be selected based on special key criteria. One business plan will be awarded on its ability to demonstrate social benefit as well as profitability. Winning business plans will be awarded $500 from MKA USA. Moreover MKA USA will match
winning business plans to angel investors with the goal to get you the funding you need to give life to your business venture. So brush off your old business plan and place it in the following template. Make sure your plan meets the judging and award criteria.
