It is with great pleasure and honor that I announce that beloved Hazrat Khalifatul Masih al-Khaamis (may Allah ta'ala strengthen his hands) has graciously approved Br. Bilal Rana as Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya USA 
for the two-year term starting on November 1, 2012. When I was Qaid of Majlis New York in the late 90's, I received a call from Br. Bilal. He was assigned by then-Sadr Munum Naeem Sahib to call Qaideen to check on progress. When I received Bilal Bhai's call, I was frustrated to receive his call and as he probably quickly deduced, our progress was slow for which I was accountable. Yet, Bilal Bhai recorded my responses with utmost patience and humility. He could have justifiably retorted in the same manner that I was addressing him. But it was his humble attitude that impressed me so much. Bilal Bhai, later on became Qaid of Houston majlis, earning Almi-Inami and then Best Regional Qaid. He was an active and obedient Naib Sadr during my term and a valuable team player.
