Houston North is on it when it comes to spreading the message of Islam and Ahmadiyyat through flyer distribution.They went on a five big church visiting spree and distributed over 1500 flyers. The target audience were the neighborhoods near the
Baitus Samee Mosque and local area libraries, churches, and convenience stores. More than 15 Khudaam, 6 Ansar, and 4 Atfal
participated. The whole activitity was stretched to over 8 hours worth of flyer distribution and spiritual reward.
These grass roots efforts are an ongoing thing throughout MKA USA and May Allah be our guide.
A Formal Report & Breakdown of Houston North's Flyer Distribution Effort
Saturday:
Attendance: 9 khuddam, 2 ansar
Total Flyers distributed: 400-500
Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm
Break down: 6 libraries visited, placed 30 flyers at each location
200-250 flyers distributed in door to door campaign
30-50% positive response from door to door distribution
Sunday:
Attendance: 10 khuddam, 4 atfal, 6 ansar
Total Flyers distributed: 1000-1200
Time: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Break down: 5 big churches visited and were invited to the messenger of peace event
800-900 fliers distributed in the door to door distribution
three different neighborhoods were visited as part of the campaign
fliers placed at different convenience stores to attract public attention
having atfal greatly helped the door to door distribution
some ansar/khuddam also took fliers to distribute in their communities
