Assalamo Alaikum to all reading this remembrance.
I’d first like to start off with, WOW! Followed up with a big THANK YOU! And please know these are said with the utmost sincerity, honesty, and humility anyone knows.
The wow is from watching almost 30,000 Ahmadis amass in one place. The wow is observing the brotherhood between complete strangers. The wow is wondering how did almost 30,000 eat within one hour.
The wow is knowing that each one of us has a similar story and they all begin with Allah.
The wow is feeling the emotion ripple through the crowd like a tidal wave engulfing each of us in its purity and righteousness.
The wow is meeting brothers from 96 countries.
The wow is never meeting a stranger for three days.
The wow is accepting each other as if we were born of the same mother.
The wow is praying behind Huzoor.
The wow is learning from each other.
The wow is knowledge we will leave this place better than when we came.
The wow is saying Baiat with everyone linked to Huzoor.
The wow is taking all we learned back home with us to share with others.
The wow is being unable to put into words the experience of a lifetime.
The wow is volunteers making the entire event work.
The wow is courtesy to your fellow brothers, even when they ask the same questions on separate days.
The wow is sitting with Huzoor for the first time.
The wow is brotherhood between nations.
The wow is titles were just titles for these few days.
The wow is understanding, even with a language difference.
The wow is Tahajjud every morning.
The wow is the wonderful blessings from Allah.
The THANK YOU is to Almighty Allah for guiding us on the right path.

The THANK YOU is to the USA Jamaat for making my trip possible.
The THANK YOU is to each and every brother I was able to meet.
The THANK YOU is to each and every brother I was unable to meet.
The THANK YOU is to each and every brother/sister who volunteered to make this event happen.
The THANK YOU is to each and every brother/sister who traveled near and far to get to this event.
The THANK YOU is to my family for raising me to find God.
The THANK YOU is to the UK and it’s wonderful hospitality.
The THANK YOU is to all the guest speakers for speaking so eloquently.
The THANK YOU is to my hometown heroes in Columbus, OH for aiding me on my journey to find righteousness, humility, honesty, integrity, truth and above all Allah.
The THANK YOU is to my brothers from the US with the biggest laughs I’ve ever heard.
The THANK YOU is to Waq-fe-Nau volunteers who went without sleep for days to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable.
The THANK YOU is to each and every Ahmadi on the face of the planet for your love, patience, good deeds, piety, taqwa, and strong faith in God.
These are things I remember from Jalsa, the one on one time with different brothers from all over the world. Brothers from Nigeria, Ghana, Russia, Sierra Leone, Philippines, Fiji, Pakistan, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Germany, UK of course, US, Egypt, Holland, Finland, China, Columbia, Indonesia, Libya, and many many more. Definitely an experience to behold and as stated earlier words cannot do justice to the feelings, the tidal wave of emotion one feels, nor the fellowship between Ahmadis.
Jazakallah for reading!
