MKA USA Response to Boston Attack

We are deeply hurt by the tragic loss of life in Boston earlier this week. We join all citizens of that city and the rest of the world in grief, and condemn this awful act in the strongest terms possible. While the details are still being uncovered, we, the Ahmadi Muslim youth, have begun to serve the city of Boston in any way we can -- from giving our blood at donor sites, to writing in local newspapers to express our pain and sympathies. May God grant strength and peace to all the victims families who have had to bear this terrible loss.

Fact of the Day

Did you know that Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world. To become Muslim, a person of any race or culture must say a simple statement, the shahadah, that bears witness to the belief in the One God and that Prophet Muhammad was the last prophet of God.

blessings36Khilafat brings many blessings to all of us who are under its obedience.  During the visit of our beloved Hazur (aba) this time around many of us had experienced some small miracles. This short blog is a going to try to capture some of these faith inspiring events for your benefit.

What's in a Chocolate?

An average twix bar contains 38 grams or 9.5 teaspoons of sugar. Logically if you are having a mindbending tootache you would not eat a candy bar like that. But logic is only the limited knowledge and sensation of what we are. We are only human beings. After my mulaqat or meeting with our beloved Hazur (aba) my family had come outside of the mosque to reflect on what had just happened and to comprehend the grand stature that our beloved Khliafa holds. While in the midst of our discussion my wife gave me a peice of the twix bar that his holiness had given my daughter. Around this time my tooth pain was at it's peak and anything sweet would have naturally activated every nerve sensation in my mouth. I would have never welcomed this kind of pain on anybody. I made an unintentional remark without focusing on who the candy bar was from. I said, "No, No! I can't eat this stuff, it will kill me (meaning the pain of my tooth)." My wife immeditaly rebuked at what i had said, "Please fear God, this was given by Hadur (aba), it is a blessing of sorts." I felt embarrased and took back my remark and ate it. Lo and behold, it was not even 24 hours where my toothache had resided and I felt normal again. I am still tooache free. So I asked my self, what's in a chocolate? I don't know because only Allah knows but i do know it was a true blessing of khilafat.
