Q: Who collects Tahrik-e-Jadid Chanda (donation)?
A: Secretary Finance (Maal) of your Jama’at collects Tahrik-e-Jadid donations.
Q: Is Tahrik-e-Jadid donation compulsory?
A: No. Tahrik-e-Jadid is voluntary donation. It is not compulsory as is Chanda Aam and Jalsa Salana.
Q: Does Nazim Tahrik-e-Jadid collect Tahrik-e-Jadid donations from Khuddam?
A: No. Nazim Tahrik-e-Jadid does not collect Tahrik-e-Jadid donations. All Jama’at donations are collected by Secretary Maal (finance) of the Jama’at.
Q:What are the duties of Nazim Tahrik-e-Jadid of the local Majlis?
A: He needs to make sure that all Khuddam understand the importance of Tahrik-e-Jadid. And that all the Khuddam of the Majlis are contributing to Tahrik-e-Jadid fund.
Q: When does Tahrik-e-Jadid year end?
A: Tahrik-e-Jadid year is from November to October.
Q: How can Nazim Tahrik-e-Jadid make sure that all the Khuddam know about the history, importance of Tahrik-e-Jadid?
A: An educational session or two on the importance, history and achievements of Tahrik-e-Jadid in Khuddam’s general meeting may help in achieving that goal.
Q: What resources are available on Tahrik-e-Jadid?
A: Local President, Secretary Tahrik-e-Jadid, or Secretary Finance of your Jama’at may be good resources to use to make presentation in the educational sessions.

You can get information on Tahrik-e-Jadid on alislam.org. Hazrat Khalifatul Masih’s (ab) first or second Friday sermon of November every year is about Tahrik-e-Jadid.
Q: Is it necessary for a Qaid to appoint Nazim Tahrik-e-Jadid for his Majlis?
A: No. But if he does not assign anybody, then it is his responsibility to take care of Tahrik-e-Jadid department’s duties himself. Since Qaideen are very busy, it is better that they appoint a Khadim as the incharge of Tahrik-e-Jadid department. Otherwise, national department will contact the Qaid for reports and issues.
